Thursday, 8 May 2025 marked the 80th anniversaries of VE (Victory in Europe) Day. The nation observed a two-minute silence on the day and many of our Councillors attended events across the district to remember and honour the sacrifices made.

Cllr Robert Cawley attended VE Day representing Rushmere and St Andrews in remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
