Bells out ring to commemorate 80th anniversary of VJ Day

Friday 15th August marked the 80th anniversary of VJ Day and the end of the Second World War. On Friday, church bells rang across the UK for half an hour to celebrate VJ day.

Cllr James Mallinder, ward member for Deben and bellringer joined his fellow ringers to ring the bells at Hollesley parish church at 6.30pm to commemorate the event locally and join in with the national celebrations.
