Cllr Mark Jepson, Ward member for Eastern Felixstowe along with fellow East Suffolk Councillors were thrilled to provide £2,090.00 from their combined Enabling Communities Budget (ECB) to Community Active and Wellbeing CIC.
The organisation was founded by Hayley Street, a previous nurse who wanted to do more to support people diagnosed with heart conditions.
Community Active and Wellbeing CIC, runs a variety of activities across Ipswich and East Suffolk. Activities range from wellbeing walks, Tai Chi, parent and children movement sessions to strength and balance active aging sessions.
Cllr Jepson led the ECB project which resulted in a cross-party allocation of monies being given to the organisation
