Cllr James Mallinder, ward member for Deben recently attended a Meet up Monday lunch held at Hollesley village.

Through his Enabling Community Budget, James continues to support local projects. In particular; Meet up Monday lunches. The weekly social sessions welcomes residents and acts as a hub for locals to meet. Many of those who regularly attend, live on their own but the events provide a warm room, hot meals and opportunities for social interactions.

The initiative can make a huge difference to addressing the causes and symptoms of loneliness by helping people on their own to connect. James is particularly passionate about this initiative and is proud to support it.
