Cllr Letitia Smith is your East Suffolk Ward Member for Carlton Colville, Gisleham & Mutford Wards.

Following her win in the 2024 Carlton Colville by-election, the East Suffolk Conservatives are delighted to welcome her back.

As the previous Cabinet Member for Communities Tourism and Leisure, she comes with a strong record of delivering many community projects along with East Suffolk’s flagship policy of Community Partnerships - a cross party multi stakeholder initiative that empowers local communities to understand their issues and deliver solutions.

Away from her duties as a Councillor, Cllr Smith works for Fine & Country, a global estate agent. She has over 33 years’ experience in management, marketing, and appraising properties for sale.

This work compliments her role as a councillor specifically regarding the challenges in providing affordable and energy efficient homes to meet the market needs and ensuring the placement of infrastructure (Transport networks, healthcare services, education, and community spaces etc.) to support its residents.
